Just wanted to say that I thought the first week of camp with Pastor Benny was awesome!  It was my priveledge to be the asst. Camp Director that week.  If you went to camp this week, then post your comments.  Youth Pastors, let us know what you thought of the camp, the new schedule, services and everything. Students, post your comments on what you liked best about camp.  Give your testimonies, you might see them on next year's promo materials. Posted: 05 Jul 06 10:54 AM Camp was amazing I really feel like I grew closer to God, and I'm trying to seek after him even more diligently now that I'm back at home surrounded by negative influence, the devotionals we recieved for after camp really and truly help, and I've noticed that my day seems better when I start it off with the devotional. I can't wait for camp next year, but until then me and my youth group our going to make "fire fall down" a theme song to live by, and we pray that our school will experience being "lost" in Gods fire as we have. I've also tried to make a point of reading my notes from the last night at camp to remind me of what I must do to truly be "lost" in Gods fire, and to remind me that the change at camp was a permanent one, and I don't have to go back to who I was before. Posted: 15 Jul 06 7:48 PM Hey bro., glad to hear camp was so awesome for you.  Keep the devo's up to stay on fire.  get your youth pastor to hold some kind of youth rally for your group about every 3-4 months to make sure that the youth camp experience doesn't die.  Stay tuned to this web site for more district events.  We've got the campus missionary training coming up, then youth convention.  C-ya. Posted: 16 Jul 06 9:09 PM thanks for the encouragement, and by the way I'm a girl, my parents just spelled my name the guys way of spelling it, but most people assume that when they see my name so don't feel bad, lol, we just finished "youth day" at church today, and I can't wait for leadership, and the convention.
